Before Android 4.x ICS you can take screenshots on your Xperia by pressing the power button and selecting "Take screenshot" option, but after the new update of the OS that is Android 4.x ICS that option is not available. So, to take a screenshot on any Xperia that is running Android 4.x ICS you have to do the following:
- Hold down the Power button and the Volume Down button at the same time for two or three seconds, you'll here a camera shot sound (that is when your phone is not in silent or vibration mode.
- A message on the top of the screen will appear saying "Saving screenshot...". The file is saved in this folder:/Pictures/Screenshots,you can browse it using your file manager.
This method works whether your phone is locked with PIN or Password.
