Fix: Google Chrome Can`t Be Installed In Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail or 13.10 Saucy Salamander Due To Missing libudev0 Dependency

Google Chrome can't be installed in Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail or 13.10 Saucy Salamander (fresh install) for now because of a missing dependency: libudev0. Until Google fixes this, here's how to install the missing dependency so you can use Google Chrome (any version) in Ubuntu Raring or Saucy.

You can install Chromium via Ubuntu Software Centre instead of Google Chrome, but you won't get the extra features that Google has added to its browser, like the built-in PDF viewer, the latest Pepper Flash and so on.

If you upgraded from Ubuntu 12.10 to 13.04 or 13.10 and libudev0 was kept during the upgrade so you didn't have any issues installing Google Chrome. But on a fresh Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail or Ubuntu 13.10 Saucy Salamander installation, Google Chrome can't be installed because libudev0 is not available in the Ubuntu 13.04 or 13.10 repositories.

So if you're using a fresh Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail or Ubuntu 13.10 Saucy Salamander installation and you can't install Google Chrome, all you have to do is download and install libudev0 from here:

Once you've installed libudev0, you should be able to install Google Chrome in Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail or Ubuntu 13.10 Saucy Salamander:

With a little modifications.
